Working/Research Experience: He has more than 20 years' teaching and research experience in the field of environment management.He has completed about more than 60 research and consultancy works on various dimensions of environmental studies sponsored by World Bank, ADB, UNDP, JBIC, NTPC, etc including ecological and social impact assessment.He has published 'a text book on environment' and 'Environmental Management and Business Strategies' and also contributed chapters in the various books. He has prepared more than 60 technical reports in the field of environmental pollution monitoring and control equipment designing, EIA/EMP, social impact assessment, resettlement action plan, etc of major industrial sectors.

He served as Principal Investigator/Coordinator in more than ten renewable energy and energy efficiency projects which covers community development to industrial profitability/sustainability issues.He served United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) as Economic Affairs Officer in the Energy Resources Section and contributed to the regional energy scenario assessment, improvement of energy efficiency and CDM workshop.
